All data is stored and processed within secure Azure environments through our strategic partnership with Microsoft. These environments are ISO 27001 and ISO 27701 certified, GDPR-compliant, and protected with enterprise-grade security measures. Azure provides advanced encryption, strict access controls, and continuous monitoring to ensure data remains safe at all times.
At the start of any data-sharing arrangement (e.g., a pilot), a formal agreement is signed covering confidentiality and data processing. Captain handles supplier and retailer data within a strictly controlled technical environment. The data provider always retains full control over their data: Captain uses it only for the agreed analytical purposes and never shares it with third parties. All data is securely stored and processed exclusively within the client’s environment.
The pilot phase typically takes 4 to 6 weeks and includes onboarding of max 3 data sources: e.g. IPV, Nielsen, and Ex-factory. We’ll begin with a short kickoff to define your goals and align on next steps. Following a successful pilot, a full rollout, including additional data sources, dashboard setup and the promo simulator, takes approximately 5 more weeks.
